12.02 Contracts 
The Board of Directors may authorize any officer, agent or agents of the Regional society, in addition to the officers so authorized by the Bylaws, to enter into any contract or execute and deliver any instrument in the name of and on behalf of the Regional Society, and such authority may be general or may be confined to specific instances. 

12.03 Checks, Drafts, or Orders 
All checks, drafts, or orders for the payment of money, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness issued in the name of the Regional Society shall be signed by the Treasurer or, in the absence of the Treasurer, by the President or other officer or person of the Regional Society as designated by the Board of Directors, in accordance with policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors. 

12.04 Deposits 
All funds of the Regional society shall be deposited from time to time to the credit of the Regional Society in such banks, trust companies, or other depositories as the Board of Directors may select. 

12.05 Gifts 
The Board of Directors may accept on behalf of the Regional Society any contribution, gift, bequest, or device for any purpose of the Regional Society. 

12.06 Fiscal Year 
The fiscal year of the Regional Society shall end on December 31. 

12.07 Books and Records 
The Regional Society shall keep correct and complete books and records of account and shall also keep minutes of the proceedings of its members, Board of Directors, committees having and exercising any of the authority of the board of Directors, and shall keep a record giving the names and addresses of all categories of members.  Upon written request ot the Board of Directors, books and records of the Regional Society may be inspected by any member, or the member's agent or attorney for any proper purpose at any reasonable time.
